Senior .NET Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Essential backend services including campaign orchestrators, FSM-based workflow engines, and API integrations with telephony (Twilio), voice AI platforms, insurance providers, and CRMs.

• Collaborate with the CTO on system design and architectural decisions.

• Manage multi-server deployments, asynchronous processing pipelines, and event-driven workflows.

• Integration with frontend technologies using Next.js (familiarity required, though not the primary focus).

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in .NET / C#.

• Strong foundation in computer science principles: OOP, SOLID, SOA, and design patterns.

• Experience in designing and managing event-driven backend systems.

• Proven experience operating systems on multi-server infrastructure under real traffic conditions — you understand the practical implications of horizontal scaling, failover, and stateless design.

• Proficient in parallel and concurrent programming — async/await, thread safety, queues, etc.

• Experience integrating multiple external services/APIs within a single backend — you have navigated the complexities and know how to streamline them.

• Capability to architect backend systems from the ground up for intricate web applications.

• Fluent in AI development tools: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot — these are integral to your daily workflow, not just occasional tools.

• Clear communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.

• **Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with voice AI / telephony integrations (Twilio, Retell, ElevenLabs, Deepgram).

• Familiarity with AWS, Vercel, or Railway deployments.

• Background in startups — adaptable to changing requirements.
