Senior Mobile iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient iOS applications that provide an exceptional user experience.

• Define and implement best practices for architecture, testing, accessibility, performance, and security in mobile applications.

• Consume and integrate APIs, optimize data handling, and manage local persistence (Core Data, Realm, caches).

• Conduct unit and UI tests, actively participate in code reviews, and uphold code quality.

• Manage builds, signing, and deployments to the App Store, and collaborate on the automation of CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.).

• Monitor performance and stability in production, responding to incidents alongside the SRE/DevOps team.

• Mentor junior and semi-senior developers, fostering continuous improvement within the team.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver user-centric solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience developing mobile iOS applications in production environments.

• Demonstrable experience with Swift and a strong understanding of its modern paradigms (protocol-oriented, generics, async/await).

• Solid knowledge of mobile application architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Coordinators) and design patterns applied to iOS.

• Experience in development with UIKit and/or SwiftUI, including animations, accessibility, and adaptations for various screen sizes.

• Experience in consuming and designing REST and/or GraphQL APIs, along with serialization and parsing (Codable, Apollo).

• Familiarity with dependency managers and ecosystem tools: CocoaPods, Carthage, Swift Package Manager, as well as Xcode and its tools.

• Experience with automated mobile testing (unit and UI), and best practices in code quality and testing (XCTest, UI Tests, snapshot testing).

• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews).

• Intermediate English proficiency (ability to read technical documentation in English).

• Experience integrating cloud services or mobile tools (preferably Firebase or AWS Mobile) will be valued.

• Knowledge in integrating Artificial Intelligence or ML models in mobile apps (Core ML, TensorFlow Lite) will be a plus.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative work with product, design, and backend teams.
