Senior Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create top-notch content for a variety of medical communication projects, including comprehensive outlines, complete manuscript drafts, symposia, advisory boards, training programs, and detail aids.

• Generate content with minimal oversight, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and timelines.

• Utilize client approval processes as necessary.

• Stay updated on advancements within designated therapy areas and the field of medical communications.

• Share knowledge with project teams and external clients as appropriate.

• Present work to clients during project calls when needed.

• Attend and provide reports on conferences and external meetings as required.

• Contribute to sections of proposals and deliver or pitch those segments.

• Oversee daily client communications and relationships related to written projects.

• Engage proactively with clients and internal project teams to manage expectations and anticipate potential issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in a life sciences discipline.

• Experience as a medical writer in a healthcare communications agency or similar setting.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication capabilities.

• Strong command of the English language.

• Remarkable attention to detail in scientific content and editorial standards.

• A life sciences graduate, preferably holding a PhD.

• Ability to tailor writing style to various materials and target audiences.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with referencing software and database searching is preferred.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects related to various products across different therapeutic areas simultaneously.
