This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and revise medical communication materials such as slide presentations, video scripts, leave-behind documents, website content, manuscripts, congress publications, gap analyses, meeting summaries, and reports.
• Produce scientifically and technically precise materials that are fully referenced and align with client objectives and specifications.
• Analyze briefs and pose relevant questions to operate independently.
• Present content updates to clients and collaborate with healthcare professionals and subject matter experts to create or approve materials.
• Complete written materials within the designated project timelines and budgets.
• Utilize client review and approval systems like Veeva and DataVision, ensuring adherence to industry regulations such as ABPI.
• Conduct thorough data checks in accordance with company procedures.
• Offer basic reviews and constructive feedback on medical communication outputs.
• Attend on-site meetings and manage deliverables such as advisory boards without the need for senior scientific oversight.
• Cultivate and sustain comprehensive knowledge of pertinent therapy areas and products.
• Investigate medical and scientific subjects using suitable sources with minimal supervision.
• Participate in and contribute to client, project kick-off, status, HCP, and ad hoc meetings.
• Inform senior team members, recognize interdependencies and potential issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Adhere to SOPs, prioritize tasks across accounts, meet deadlines, and communicate potential delays effectively.
• Manage assigned hours, maintain an average billability of approximately 85%, and complete timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).
• 2–3 years of medical writing experience within the medical communications field.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to explore new initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a flair for creativity.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
• Experience collaborating with clients and healthcare professionals.
• Competence in providing basic reviews of deliverables for scientific accuracy and integrity.
