This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, create, and refine materials for a diverse array of project types and audiences.
• Develop slide presentations, digital content, manuscripts, congress publications, and meeting documents.
• Produce high-quality, thoroughly researched, technically precise, client-ready initial drafts.
• Comprehend project briefs, pose pertinent questions, and operate independently.
• Conduct critical reviews and make necessary amendments for consistency and precision.
• Integrate feedback accurately and consistently into work.
• Complete written materials within the designated project timelines.
• Volunteer for and execute data verification in accordance with BOLD processes.
• Stay informed about scientific advancements and share insights with internal teams and clients.
• Cultivate scientific expertise in specific therapy areas and client accounts.
• Attain a comprehensive understanding of at least one product and familiarize yourself with leading experts in a therapeutic field.
• Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks across various projects.
• Adhere to deadlines and notify senior team members of any potential delays.
• Engage in client calls and internal status meetings.
• Offer on-site or virtual assistance for meetings and events under senior supervision.
• Proactively address team inquiries and seek senior guidance when necessary.
• Collaborate with clients, client services, the studio, and the broader BOLD team.
• Oversee allocated hours, maintain an average billability of 85–90%, and ensure timesheets are completed accurately and promptly.
• Mentor new Associate Medical Writers as they embark on their journey with BOLD.
• Previous experience in the medical communications sector (or a related field).
• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).
• 1–3 years of experience in medical writing, preferably within a medical communications agency.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to explore new opportunities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with a passion for creativity.
• Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in researching and developing scientific knowledge in a specific therapy area.
• Ability to work across various client accounts, deliverables, and therapy areas.
• Capacity to collaborate with clients and the wider BOLD team.
• Ability to sustain an average billability of 85–90%.
• Skill in completing timesheets accurately and promptly.
