This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Define and steer the standards, frameworks, and best practices for enterprise AI architecture.
• Create scalable AI platforms that facilitate Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics.
• Establish governance for AI within the enterprise, ensuring security, compliance, model lifecycle management, and responsible adoption of AI technologies.
• Collaborate with and influence senior leadership to pinpoint high-value AI use cases that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee the comprehensive design and deployment of enterprise AI solutions and initiatives for intelligent automation.
• Architect and implement AI-driven copilots, knowledge assistants, and solutions for workflow automation.
• Integrate AI functionalities into enterprise applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Service Platforms, and custom-built applications.
• Design scalable APIs, microservices, and frameworks for AI orchestration.
• Lead the implementation of enterprise Generative AI solutions utilizing platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Services.
• Design architectures for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, prompt engineering frameworks, and solutions for enterprise knowledge management.
• Build secure integrations for enterprise AI with internal data platforms and business systems.
• Assess and enhance the performance, cost-effectiveness, governance, and scalability of large language models (LLMs).
• Work with data engineering teams to develop scalable AI/ML pipelines and data architectures.
• Design enterprise-grade capabilities for MLOps and LLMOps, including CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and governance of models.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and operational readiness of AI platforms.
• Support cloud-native AI deployments across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Act as a technical lead and mentor for AI engineers, developers, and solution architects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in Manufacturing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.
• Drive evaluations of vendors, proofs-of-concept, and establish strategic partnerships related to AI technologies.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise software engineering, solution architecture, AI/ML engineering, or similar technical leadership roles.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying enterprise solutions based on Generative AI / LLM technologies.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale AI transformation projects within global organizations.
• Strong background in cloud-native architectures and enterprise integration platforms.
• High proficiency in Python and contemporary AI/ML frameworks.
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot Studio, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI ecosystems.
• Experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, and prompt engineering.
• Proficient in using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise API integration, microservices, and distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise security and AI governance requirements.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Preferred experience with data engineering technologies such as SQL, Spark, Databricks, or equivalent platforms.
• Industry experience in Renewable Energy, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Utilities, Energy Storage, and Global Supply Chain Operations is preferred.
