This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Provide guidance, training, oversight, and strategic vision to department Pharmacists and Product Managers.
• Support the financial management of the department, encompassing forecasting, budget creation, staffing, and program trend analysis in alignment with Navitus’ strategic and business objectives.
• Proactively identify and address issues related to population health.
• Spearhead the creation of new clinical programs and oversee the upkeep and enhancement of current programs, ensuring that innovation and evidence-based practices remain a distinguishing factor for Navitus.
• Act as a primary stakeholder and decision-maker in the execution of new clinical requirements.
• Possess a robust understanding of current standards, regulations, and guidelines such as CMS, PQA, and HEDIS measures, along with the capability to effectively communicate this information to stakeholders and clients.
• Assist the RPD with the accredited PGY1 Managed Care Residency Program.
• Provide support for URAC and NCQA clinical initiatives and projects as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Pharm D is required.
• At least 6 years of clinical experience, or completion of a clinical or managed care pharmacy practice residency coupled with four years of clinical experience is required.
• Desired knowledge of the PBM industry, formulary management, clinical outcomes research, pharmacy claims, and principles and practices of managed care.
