Senior Manager, Machine Learning Engineering – Communication & Connectivity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate alignment among engineering, product, and leadership regarding AI investment priorities while establishing a multi-year technical roadmap.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to transition high-impact ML initiatives from conception to production.

• Ensure the development of high-quality, efficient data pipelines that cater to both business and AI demands.

• Define and take ownership of success metrics that directly link ML efforts to business results.

• Cultivate and mentor a team of ML/Data engineers, enhancing the technical standards across the organization.

• Lead and guide a senior team of Managers and Engineers specializing in Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering.

• This position requires extensive cross-functional collaboration, partnering with senior leadership across Engineering, Data Science, Product, and our Business to align stakeholders, outline multi-year roadmaps, and establish and achieve iterative milestones.

• Coach and develop team members, assisting them in advancing their careers, technical skills, and collaborative abilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of engineering experience, including more than 5 years of team management in a dynamic, high-growth tech environment.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in building, leading, and architecting full-stack products and systems at an enterprise level with substantial impact.

• Familiarity with the application of modern artificial intelligence technologies in product development cycles.

• Demonstrated technical leadership with hands-on experience managing project teams, establishing technical direction and strategy, and collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Data Science teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with examples of working across teams and organizations on technical initiatives.
