This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide and mentor engineering managers and cross-functional engineering teams in data engineering, analytics, and application development.
• Develop and implement the technical strategy for large-scale analytics platforms, data pipelines, and AI-powered solutions.
• Promote the adoption of engineering best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to prioritize projects and allocate resources efficiently.
• Advocate for engineering excellence through architecture reviews, standards for code quality, and technical governance.
• Manage performance evaluations, coaching, succession planning, and career advancement for engineering leaders.
• Track organizational KPIs, platform reliability, and operational efficiency to foster continuous improvement.
• Eliminate delivery barriers and act as an escalation point for cross-functional and technical issues.
• Assist in recruitment efforts, engage in senior-level hiring decisions, and contribute to the growth of a diverse engineering organization.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and identify opportunities to utilize AI, cloud technologies, and modern data architectures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years in engineering leadership or management roles.
• Strong background in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, or contemporary data warehouse technologies.
• Practical technical expertise in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with large-scale analytics systems and high-volume data environments.
• Familiarity with modern database and data warehouse technologies such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience in implementing or supporting AI, machine learning, LLM, or generative AI solutions in production settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, code review practices, and all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects, handling competing priorities, and navigating organizational change in dynamic environments.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
