This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Engage in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of systems within a mainframe setting, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of essential business applications.
• Suggest methods and solutions to optimize processing times and enhance efficiency in the utilization of Alta Plataforma resources.
• Design and sustain systems using COBOL (both online and batch).
• Offer support for maintenance tasks and critical incidents.
• Evaluate requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Guarantee system stability and optimal performance.
• Participate in deployment processes and acceptance testing.
• Assist in technical testing and validations.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Extensive expertise with the following tools: COBOL; Batch; CICS; VSAM; DB2; JCL; TSO; FTP.
• Experience with mainframe infrastructure.
• Knowledge of processing chains (CA-ESP).
• Familiarity with utilities (e.g., sort).
• Experience in complex environments.
• A performance-driven mindset.
• Proven experience in analyzing processes, programs, job streams, and infrastructure.
• Background in the banking sector.
• Proficiency in English, at an intermediate to advanced level.
