Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Price Modeling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance machine learning models for pricing suggestions, with a focus on reinforcement learning models.

• Organize and prioritize initiatives to ensure team activities align with Airbnb’s strategic objectives.

• Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to grasp requirements and expected outcomes.

• Design, evaluate, and improve machine learning models.

• Assess model performance and implement necessary modifications.

• Share insights and progress reports with team members and stakeholders.

• Partner with product engineers and designers to incorporate models into intuitive tools for hosts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly reinforcement learning models.

• Proficient in Python or other relevant programming languages.

• Knowledgeable in data analysis and visualization tools.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team and convey complex concepts clearly.

• Must possess authorization to work in the specified location.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Experience in the hospitality sector or with pricing models is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Airbnb’s platform and tools would be beneficial.
