Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to enhance operations and service delivery.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish requirements, carry out feasibility studies, and provide scalable solutions.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of machine learning projects, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with best practices in machine learning, including model assessment, validation, and monitoring.

• Foster innovation and ongoing enhancements in machine learning applications and processes.

• Offer technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

• Keep updated with advancements in machine learning techniques and technologies to suggest enhancements and new methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in software application development and design.

• 3-5 years of experience working with Machine Learning systems.

• 3-5 years of experience with AWS services (ECR, S3, SageMaker).

• Over 5 years of experience in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn).

• Experience in building large, complex systems, especially web services, RESTful APIs, and continuous integration and delivery.

• Familiarity with tree-based models, DVC, Airflow, and/or SQL is a plus.

• Comprehension of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.

• Strong communication skills, with the capability to collaborate with other teams.

• Eager to grasp the nuances of data and its influence on business outcomes.
