This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, and governance evaluations.
• Convert business, regulatory, and security needs into actionable governance strategies and deliverables.
• Offer expert advisory services in M365 governance, compliance, and information management.
• Create and implement governance frameworks for Microsoft 365, which include Purview, Compliance Centre, DLP, retention, and information protection.
• Formulate policies, standards, and operational processes to foster secure and compliant collaboration.
• Counsel clients on data classification, retention, lineage, and compliance alignment.
• Develop modern SharePoint Online information architecture, covering metadata models, taxonomy, content types, and site structures.
• Establish SharePoint governance frameworks to ensure consistency, usability, and compliance.
• Create secure internal and external collaboration models, which include guest access, sharing controls, and governance.
• Assist clients in optimizing content lifecycle management and collaboration practices.
• Ensure governance solutions are in line with organizational risk profiles and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cyber and security teams (both internal and client-side) to integrate governance controls.
• Generate high-quality documentation, including governance models, IA designs, roadmaps, and recommendations.
• Guide clients through governance uplift programs and organizational change initiatives.
• Provide subject-matter expertise across M365, SharePoint, and data governance areas.
• Significant experience in delivering client-facing M365 governance and compliance consulting engagements.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Purview, M365 Compliance Centre, DLP, retention, and information protection.
• Proven track record in designing SharePoint Online information architecture and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated capability to develop enterprise governance policies, standards, and operational processes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory and security requirements into actionable solutions.
• Familiarity with Power Automate, especially concerning workflow governance and automation standards.
• Experience with SharePoint or M365 migration projects, including content assessment and IA redesign.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric workspace governance.
• Experience working alongside cyber or security teams on governance uplift initiatives.
