Senior Trade Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Investigate the technical specifications of components and products utilizing SAP, customer or vendor websites, general internet searches, or various database tools.

• Assign and input EU HTS, ECNs, and other pertinent import/export information into SAP or MS Excel databases.

• Develop and oversee product research files, which include data entry, retrieval, and development processes.

• Organize, partition, extract, or append data items using SAP or MS Excel tools, incorporating advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

• Execute audits and reviews of data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Carry out general administrative duties to assist the Global Trade Compliance Team.

• Maintain compliance with EU regulations related to import/export activities.

• Aid in the preparation of reports and the upkeep of compliance documentation as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Import & Export classification.

• Familiarity with or experience in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Numbers (ECNs).

• Proficient in English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Preferred educational background in Engineering or a related technical field.

• Capability to read and comprehend technical documentation.

• Previous experience in import/export processes is advantageous.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

• Ability to manage and manipulate data in Excel for reporting and analytical purposes.

• Experience with Power BI is considered a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and precision in data entry tasks.
