Senior JavaScript Software Engineer – React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Creating and developing applications utilizing JavaScript.

• Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of components, while ensuring high technical quality standards within the project team.

• Contributing to the establishment of structured practices, particularly in source code management, building, and deployment processes.

• Designing and implementing solutions for data storage.

• Enhancing application performance for optimal speed and scalability.

• Gathering feedback from users and clients to create suitable solutions.

• Aiding in the analysis of client requirements.

• Collaborating with and supporting Technical Leaders to ensure project execution and timely delivery.

• Working in partnership with client teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience at a Senior Engineer level, typically with a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience.

• Hands-on experience delivering in an agile environment.

• Practical experience and knowledge in developing real-world solutions.

• Profound understanding of the JavaScript language and its frameworks, including React.

• In-depth knowledge of version control tools, such as Git.

• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools at all levels, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Real-world experience with databases and cloud environments.

• Experience in automation, CI, and CD practices.

• Proven experience in collaborative software development using pull requests and code reviews.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Experience with Headless CMS, preferably Sanity, is a bonus.
