Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for our logistics integration platform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Actively participate in the design and advancement of our Delivery Lifecycle domain utilizing Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

• Create and uphold both synchronous HTTP APIs and asynchronous event-driven integrations.

• Leverage your knowledge of event-driven architectures and microservices to construct a scalable and maintainable platform (EDA and DDD).

• Design and implement seamless integrations with internal APIs.

• Guarantee the quality and stability of your code through comprehensive testing and adherence to best practices.

• Select and implement the appropriate tools for the job, working across both Relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to integrate downstream and upstream logistics workflows smoothly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development with a proven history of creating and deploying scalable applications.

• Strong understanding and experience with Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.

• In-depth knowledge of messaging patterns, event streaming (Kafka), and queue management (SNS/SQS).

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external APIs.

• Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices.

• Familiarity with database concepts and experience with various database systems.

• A strong advocate for clean code and the application of DDD concepts to simplify complex business domains.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English.
