Senior IT Cloud Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with SOC 2 Type II audit cycles by gathering evidence, conducting control walkthroughs, and automating evidence workflows. Perform regular Vendor Risk Assessments (VRAs) for third-party applications.

• Establish technical controls in line with corporate Data Retention policies for information systems.

• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to manage legal holds and supervise critical systems such as Google Workspace Shared Drives.

• Manage centralized logging and SIEM functionalities across IT-managed systems (Google Workspace, JumpCloud, SentinelOne, and AssetSonar), which includes log source onboarding, log forwarding architecture, and ensuring data integrity. Work in conjunction with the Security team on alert configuration, detection design, and incident response.

• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes across various IT systems.

• Uphold governance guidelines and procedures in alignment with IT policies.

• Assist the Employee Service Desk team by troubleshooting escalated incidents and identifying root causes for updating guidelines.

• Implement, monitor, and manage software patching and data backup processes.

• Identify and assess new IT tools that improve Confidentiality, Availability, and Integrity, emphasizing automation.

• Align end-user requirements with other Information System Owners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

• Over 5 years of experience managing Google Workspace (previously G Suite) in an enterprise context.

• More than 5 years of experience overseeing cloud-first IT systems.

• Proficient in administering Slack.

• Experience with Identity Provider (IdP) management, including SSO and MFA governance in a cloud-first setting.

• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and endpoint policy enforcement. Experience with JumpCloud is preferred.

• Knowledge of modern endpoint security and XDR (Extended Detection and Response), with a preference for SentinelOne Singularity.

• Skilled in troubleshooting issues across Windows and macOS platforms.

• Experience in integrating various Information Systems.

• Proficient with REST APIs, webhooks, and contemporary automation/integration platforms.

• Background in implementing IT governance within organizations.

• Experience in developing and tracking IT metrics and KPIs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in US English, including the ability to create technical documentation and provide end-user training.

• ITIL 4 Foundation certification is preferred.

• Agile Project Management certification or equivalent educational background is desired.

• Experience with the administration of the SentinelOne Singularity platform is preferred.

• Background in SaaS financial operations (FinOps) or vendor negotiation to optimize SaaS expenditure is preferred.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure is desired.

• Experience in troubleshooting Android and Apple iOS systems is preferred.

• Experience in maintaining and monitoring small-scale AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPN, proxy) for operational integrity is preferred.

• Understanding of IT operations across multiple time zones is preferred.
