Senior iOS Engineer – Monetization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and managing scalable monetization features for iOS (including ad formats, sponsored content, and premium functionalities) in a dynamic and impactful setting.

• Collaborating with diverse teams (such as designers, product managers, data analysts, backend engineers, and the adOps team) to create innovative monetization solutions that prioritize user experience.

• Acting as a liaison between advertisers/partners and our users, ensuring that monetization appears seamless and unobtrusive.

• Enhancing the performance and stability of monetization features to guarantee smooth integration with the core BeReal experience.

• Evaluating user behavior, A/B test results, and business metrics to refine monetization strategies.

• Guaranteeing a high-quality, genuine user experience through well-considered technical solutions.

• Contributing to and maintaining best practices in code quality, design, and development methodologies.

• Continuously innovating and enhancing the iOS technology stack (Swift, SwiftUI).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient iOS programming skills (5+ years of experience).

• Strong knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.

• Familiarity with Clean Architecture principles and the separation of concerns.

• Experience in developing monetization features, ad products, or consumer-facing applications is a significant advantage.

• Capability to comprehend and debug extensive, complex codebases.

• A product-oriented mindset with a keen passion for clean interfaces, smooth animations, and interactions.

• An interest in analytics and a data-driven approach to measure impact and iterate.

• A solid understanding of user experience and the ability to balance business objectives with product quality.

• Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and results-oriented.

• Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
