This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Monitor adversary campaigns, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Create high-quality written reports in both short and long formats independently
• Produce reports from various sources with minimal factual inaccuracies
• Actively participate in inter-team discussions, including leading and engaging in group activities
• Identify intelligence gaps and suggest research initiatives to address collection deficiencies
• Regularly perform peer reviews of reports prepared by team members
• Facilitate and contribute to analytical discussions
• Prioritize, categorize, and address information requests from both internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and assist with customer engagements and requests as instructed
• Independently conduct briefings for diverse customer levels
• Recognize opportunities for automation and process enhancements
• Monitor DPRK-nexus financial operations
• Develop and sustain technical infrastructure tracking for DPRK-nexus adversaries
• Enhance team knowledge transfer through peer reviews and mentoring of junior analysts
• Self-driven professional with over 3 years of experience in a threat intelligence setting
• Advanced expertise in threat intelligence research/collection tools and analytical methodologies
• Proven ability to identify, organize, catalog, and monitor adversary tradecraft trends, often with incomplete information
• Demonstrated capability to generate a consistent flow of high-quality finished intelligence products on tight deadlines independently
• Strong grasp of technical concepts related to cyber threat research and the ability to effectively convey these concepts in written reports
• Ability to carry out technical analyses of tools and tradecraft used by threat actors
• Proven proficiency with infrastructure tracking tools (e.g., Censys, VirusTotal, DomainTools, Netflow, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience effectively coordinating research projects and written outputs among various subject matter experts and technical specialists
• Strong understanding and application of adversary attribution concepts
• Excellent knowledge of geopolitical issues pertaining to the DPRK
• Acts as a model for analytical objectivity and resolves analytical disagreements independently
• Ability to serve as a consistent and reliable point of contact during high-stress periods
