Senior Integration Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• **Key Responsibilities:**

• - **Design & Architect:** Create and document intricate **integration architectures**, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and in line with enterprise standards.

• - **Platform Leadership:** Guide the design and evolution of core **Integration and Data platforms**, acting as the technical authority for these essential systems.

• - **Modernization:** Architect and supervise initiatives to **redesign and replace legacy integrations**, transitioning them to modern, event-driven, or API-based solutions.

• - **Microservices Governance:** Oversee the design and development of **integration microservices**, establishing architectural patterns and best practices for their creation and management.

• - **Strategic Vision:** Define the overarching **Enterprise Architecture Strategy** and ensure its consistent application through architectural governance.

• - **Technical Guidance:** Serve as a **technical leader and Subject Matter Expert** for integration technologies, offering guidance to development teams and resolving complex technical challenges.

• - **Innovation & Compliance:** Keep abreast of industry trends, propose innovative solutions, and ensure all designs adhere to security, regulatory, and business continuity standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Experience:**

• - Demonstrated experience as an **Integration Architect**.

• - Practical experience working with or supporting teams in building **Java Spring Boot microservices** or similar technologies.

• - Familiarity with using **Kafka in an integration landscape**.

• - Proficient in **Cloud Computing platforms** (AWS or Azure) and implementing architecture frameworks (e.g., **TOGAF**).

• - Experience in reengineering legacy replacement integrations.

• - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for debugging complex distributed systems.

• - Strong comprehension of **DevOps practices**, CI/CD, and containerization technologies.
