Senior Go Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold robust, scalable, and dependable backend services.

• Lead technical research, architecture design, and the implementation of backend services and new features.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective technical solutions.

• Engage in code reviews and architectural discussions while advocating for engineering best practices.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of backend services, which includes deployment, monitoring, and production support.

• Establish and maintain observability infrastructure, encompassing metrics, logging, dashboards, and tracing.

• Mentor engineers and aid in the technical development of the team.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies, including discovery, refinement, sprint planning, decomposition, and demos.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial backend engineering experience in high-load environments.

• Proficient in Go, with in-depth knowledge of advanced language features such as generics, reflection, unsafe, and custom synchronization primitives.

• Strong SQL expertise, covering schema design, replication, partitioning, sharding, and query optimization.

• Extensive understanding of Redis data structures and their efficient application in high-load systems.

• Experience with both synchronous and asynchronous inter-service communication.

• Solid knowledge of microservice architecture patterns and client-server communication.

• Background in designing and implementing observability strategies, including metrics, logging, dashboards, and distributed tracing.

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes (or similar), and cloud infrastructure.

• Capability to write maintainable, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.

• Proficient in Git.

• Experienced with project management and collaboration tools.
