Senior Go Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage server software along with accompanying databases.

• Create interfaces for our internal software systems to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in Go.

• Optimize and support Postgres databases to ensure performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize project needs.

• Develop and execute innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.

• Show ownership and accountability for the quality and dependability of our software.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to enhancing our codebase.

• Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science.

• Over 8 years of experience with the Go programming language.

• More than 8 years of experience with Docker.

• At least 5 years of experience with Postgres databases.

• Proficient in server software development and deployment.

• Experience in building interfaces for other software applications.

• Familiarity with using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to speed up development.

• Experience in integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into web applications.

• Knowledge of constructing conversational interfaces or AI-assisted features.

• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
