Senior Fullstack Engineer, Node.js, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the team to explore new concepts, best practices, and strategies for both front-end and back-end development of designated applications.

• Design, develop, and sustain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code.

• Take the initiative in designing and implementing innovative applications utilizing Node.js and Angular.

• Create Web APIs using RESTful principles.

• Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs within the applications.

• Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation processes.

• Ensure high-quality code delivery by driving quality and implementing various levels of automated testing including unit, integration, performance, and security tests.

• Participate in the Scrum/Agile software development methodology, including activities such as sprints, standups, retrospectives, planning, pointing, grooming, and more.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing both front-end and back-end applications for web-based platforms.

• Proficiency in the latest UI development frameworks and technologies, particularly Angular 2+.

• Strong understanding of system design and data structures, with experience in relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

• Proven experience in building responsive web applications using front-end technologies like Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and SASS.

• Familiarity with backend technologies including Node.js, Nest.js, and Express (or similar API frameworks).

• Experience leveraging the latest JavaScript features in conjunction with TypeScript.

• Skilled in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Background in unit and integration testing practices.

• Experience working within Agile teams.

• Proficient with code management systems such as Git.

• Ideally, experience with Kafka.

• Experience with AWS is a plus.
