Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend (Python/FastAPI) and frontend (React) components of web applications, primarily concentrating on backend architecture and performance.

• Create and integrate AI-driven features and systems into production applications, collaborating with data science and machine learning teams as necessary.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to collect requirements and deliver new features from start to finish.

• Produce clean, scalable, and thoroughly documented code in accordance with software development best practices.

• Architect and integrate cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services to guarantee reliability and scalability.

• Design and manage RESTful APIs with an emphasis on performance, security, and maintainability.

• Enhance application performance across the entire stack, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience.

• Engage in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to uphold code quality standards.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack promptly and effectively.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI frameworks, and industry trends to continually enhance solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI for backend development, including RESTful API design, implementation, and optimization.

• Solid practical experience with React for frontend development, encompassing component architecture and state management.

• Proven experience working with AI systems, LLM integrations, or AI-enabled applications.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or equivalent).

• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and capacity to take ownership of complex technical challenges.

• Ability to work efficiently in agile, cross-functional team environments.

• English: Advanced proficiency (required for effective communication with global teams).
