This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• The Full-Stack Developer will collaborate closely with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and technical/functional leads across Guidehouse's digital teams and market segments to support client projects and facilitate growth initiatives and capability enhancements.
• Act as a vital member of the modernization team, addressing technical challenges and demonstrations by developing innovative solution prototypes leveraging cloud architectures and software technologies.
• Engage in solutions architecture and hands-on engineering/full-stack development of scalable and secure distributed systems utilizing modern software technologies and programming, Cloud Native and microservices architecture, containerization, and API-First design patterns.
• In partnership with user experience designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts, the Cloud Applications Full Stack Developer will design, construct, test, and deploy high-value, operationally resilient software products on the AWS cloud platform that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Must be a US citizen or a Green Card holder.
• A Bachelor's degree or an additional four (4) years of relevant experience is required in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of SIX (6) years of prior relevant experience in full-stack application development.
• At least THREE (3) years of experience in cloud applications development for building or modernizing applications and datasets on the AWS cloud.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products and solutions, including Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.JS.
• Essential skills include proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, mentoring and supporting team members as needed to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Established capability to develop software products and solution prototypes, utilizing them to validate technical solution strategies while clearly communicating and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of intricate design alternatives.
• A thorough understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles, along with relevant experience.
• Must be an experienced Agile practitioner with a proven track record of planning and delivering software products with agility.
