Senior FIAR, FISCAM Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for all FIAR audit activities related to the TFMS program, representing the program during interactions with USTRANSCOM Audit Support teams.

• Ensure that TFMS consistently adheres to FISCAM guidelines for IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, and financial reporting controls.

• Stay informed about changes in FISCAM control requirements and proactively pinpoint gaps in TFMS application configurations, custom code, interfaces, and cloud infrastructure.

• Organize annual FISCAM control walk-throughs in collaboration with USTRANSCOM.

• Create, compile, and submit documents related to TFMS cloud and cybersecurity in response to auditor inquiries.

• Draft, revise, and maintain all audit documentation for TFMS, including corrective action plans and evidence packages.

• Monitor the resolution of audit findings using audit response and security compliance tracking systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active secret clearance is required.

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

• At least eight (8) years of experience in federal financial management, financial audit support, or IT audit/compliance roles, with a minimum of five (5) years dedicated to DoD financial systems.

• Experience in developing and maintaining FISCAM control documentation, audit narratives, process flow diagrams, and audit evidence packages.

• Experience with DoD cloud-hosted financial systems, preferably in an AWS GovCloud or equivalent DoD-authorized environment.

• Familiarity with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government (Green Book) and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123.

• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.

• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) are preferred.
