📋 Description

• This role involves the duties of an electrical engineer, focusing on the design of low voltage (LV), high voltage (HV), and extra high voltage (EHV) electrical power systems.

• You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and drafters in substation engineering design projects.

• The position includes providing engineering assistance to project management, procurement, and construction throughout all project phases.

• You'll review and coordinate substation physical drawings and calculations.

• Serve as the Engineer of Record for multiple projects concurrently.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of transmission level substations (13.8kV – 500 kV).

• Proficiency in Transmission Line Protection and Substation Protection and Control Systems.

• Experience with generator, transformer, and bus protection schemes.

• Skilled in developing station/substation single-line, protection, control, and SCADA diagrams, including utility and ISO interconnection and operational requirements.

• Familiarity with equipment specifications, designs, and layouts that encompass major equipment, protection, control, SCADA, and low-voltage auxiliary systems.

• Knowledge in reviewing substation physical drawings and calculations, covering general arrangements, clearances, details, conduit, grounding, lightning protection, and more.

• A Professional Engineering license in one or more US states is mandatory.
