Senior EDI, e-invoicing Integration Engineer – with English and German/French/Italian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Optimizing e-invoicing and global supply chains by planning, coordinating, and technically executing e-invoicing and EDI projects on our cloud platform.

• Engaging in global communication with our partner companies, customers, and their suppliers.

• Serving as the liaison between our customers, their ERP systems, and our SaaS platform.

• Onboarding new customers (following handover from Sales) and independently advancing your integration projects.

• Acting as a sparring partner for our customers and addressing their technical challenges.

• Taking proactive measures to ensure the success of each project.

• Coordinating mappings for e-invoicing and EDI integration with the document engineering team for your integration projects.

• Promoting the assessment and implementation of new tools and processes for the project and managing the workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in e-invoicing and/or EDI.

• Familiarity with the integration of ERP import and export interfaces utilizing XML, CSV, and IDocs.

• Experience in EDI onboarding, EDI service providers, and Value Added Networks (VANs).

• Knowledge of national e-invoicing mandates worldwide.

• In-depth understanding of common EDI and integration formats such as XML, EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and VDA, as well as EDI protocols like AS2, OFTP2, or PEPPOL.

• Excellent communication skills in English and either French, German, Italian, or Chinese.

• Expertise in project management, supply chain management, and/or logistics.

• Strong organizational abilities and a preference for independent work.
