📋 Description

• Produce innovative and thought-provoking content that delivers essential insights.

• Generate fresh insights and concepts through thought leadership, offering compelling and actionable solutions to meet client needs, thereby enhancing their responsiveness.

• Conduct comprehensive analyses to uncover the root causes of client challenges and reshape thinking to advance strategic initiatives.

• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing insights positions within a team of analysts.

• Provide independent and stimulating insights to Gartner leaders that can influence the direction of the research agenda.

• Research, analyze, and forecast market trends and shifts to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.

• Offer clients and prospects actionable guidance aligned with their specific content area through virtual or in-person interactions.

• Design and present high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings, both on and off stage.

• Support BTI and Sales by acting as the voice of the market, aiding Insights teams in content creation and fostering client engagement to address critical business priorities.

• Ensure high-quality and timely peer reviews of content.

• Establish credibility as an industry expert, representing Gartner’s insights, methodologies, and strategies.

• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.

• Identify opportunities for research process enhancements or create new processes that facilitate excellent service delivery by the team and BTI.

• Mentor and coach junior team members.

• Maintain a client-centric approach, consistently seeking to engage clients with Gartner insights and interactions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.

• Over 12 years of experience in Cyber GRC, Information Security, or Enterprise Risk Management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

• Expertise in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring cyber risks across the enterprise.

• Experience in implementing quantitative and qualitative risk analysis methodologies (e.g., FAIR, NIST RMF).

• The ideal candidate will have a background in leading cross-functional initiatives to integrate cyber risk management into business processes.

• Proven experience in developing and executing an organization’s Cyber GRC strategy that aligns with business objectives and risk appetite.

• Knowledge in establishing and maintaining strong cyber governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures.

• Possess the skills and experience to assist clients in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX, NIST, ISO 27001).

• Lead audits, assessments, and remediation initiatives.

• Familiarity with one or more Cyber GRC platforms such as ServiceNow, Drata, Archer, or MetricStream.

• Demonstrate executive presence and establish credibility with executives and key stakeholders promptly.

• Strong organizational abilities; capable of working under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.

• Exhibit excellence in research and writing skills.

• Proficient in written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills; capable of engaging clients and effectively addressing inquiries.

• Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data; able to apply patterns and frameworks while constructing and defending conclusions to client challenges.

• Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.

• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale events.

• Solid business and financial acumen.

• Extensive knowledge of the global and competitive landscape relevant to the subject area and its market dynamics.

• Ability to work independently, while also being motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global environment.

• Learning agility and adeptness at navigating highly matrixed settings.

• Capable of effectively representing Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
