Senior Director Analyst – AI Data Security, Data Management, Emerging Technology, Trends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Create innovative insights on the emergence, adoption, and disruptions caused by emerging technologies in the realm of AI data security and AI ecosystem data management.

• Collaborate with Gartner clients and their teams, integrating research into meetings and presentations.

• Expand the ETT team’s network of thought leaders, startups, and vendors for research purposes.

• Deliver customized inquiries and briefings to Gartner clients focused on Emerging Technologies within the Security Markets.

• Maintain the integrity of the team's research and analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; a graduate degree is preferred or equivalent experience in the cybersecurity field with particular relevance to AI data security and AI ecosystem data management.

• At least 12 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledgeable about the AI data security and AI ecosystem data management market.

• Understanding of Cloud and on-premises data visibility, classification, monitoring, and protection.

• Experience in data management for AI model training, management, learning, and governance.

• Knowledge of data security measures for data at rest, in-flight, and in use, including encryption and tokenization.

• Familiarity with AI security platform architecture in relation to data management.

• Proficient with tools and data sources such as Pitchbook, CapIQ, TechCrunch, and Bloomberg.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical and presentation capabilities.

• Adept at analyzing and synthesizing data.

• Solid business and financial acumen.

• Capable of effectively representing Gartner's research methodology and strategies at all levels.

• Willingness and readiness to travel up to 25%.
