Senior Digital Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of essential applications and automation solutions that integrate seamlessly across enterprise systems.

• Merge architectural leadership with practical engineering to expedite delivery, enhance reliability, and ensure scalability.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather user requirements, evaluate existing issues and gaps, identify areas for improvement, and propose digital solutions along with a development roadmap.

• Take charge of the complete lifecycle: discovery, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transitioning to operations.

• Develop applications and automation solutions: enhance user experience and efficiency by digitizing manual business workflows and processes.

• Implement automation in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, release management, and test automation.

• Engineer integrations and APIs; design event-driven workflows and orchestration across SaaS and enterprise platforms.

• Establish and uphold best practices for security, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with product and operations teams to refine requirements, manage backlogs, and deliver incremental value.

• Build observability through logging, metrics, and tracing; lead incident response and root-cause analysis efforts.

• Mentor engineers, lead design and code reviews, and ensure the maintenance of technical documentation and standards.

• Contribute to governance activities including estimation, risk management, change control, and communication with stakeholders.

• Monitor KPIs (deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, defect rates) and drive ongoing improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in delivering production applications and automation solutions, with at least 3 years focused on MS Power Platform, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Azure.

• Proficient in data connections and tool integrations using out-of-the-box connectors, with the ability to create custom components and connectors within the Power Platform.

• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, UI/UX concepts and design frameworks, alongside solid knowledge of at least two of the following: Python, C#, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, etc.

• Experienced in API design and integration patterns (REST), messaging/queues, data storage (SQL), and DevOps toolchains, including CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and enterprise automation (RPA).

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with adaptability, strong initiative, and attention to detail.
