
Senior Digital Analyst, Ad Monetization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Enhance advertising revenue by pinpointing opportunities and resolving hidden challenges through innovative data design, analysis, experimentation, and close collaboration with the cross-functional Ads team to drive revenue growth.
• Report to the Monetization team and work closely with Product, Data, and Finance to ensure accurate data, tracking, and reporting are established to support decision-making and revenue advancement.
• Within the first month: Gain an understanding of CrazyGames’ product offerings, ad technology stack, and key performance metrics.
• Within three months: Be able to independently query and validate datasets using SQL; identify immediate opportunities to enhance data quality and revenue insights; conduct revenue reconciliation and discrepancy analysis across different systems and partners; ensure stakeholders receive reliable and actionable reporting; start identifying optimization opportunities through data analysis.
• Within six months: Identify revenue leakage, inconsistencies, and performance issues using automated alerts and dashboards; take ownership of the design and validation of event tracking and measurement frameworks; collaborate on yield optimization initiatives by delivering in-depth analysis and insights.
• Within twelve months: Become a pivotal contributor to data-driven monetization strategies and decision-making; guarantee top-tier reporting and visualization throughout the organization; serve as a trusted partner to leadership on analytics, measurement, and revenue performance.
• Relevant experience in a comparable role, whether at a publisher, agency, or ad tech company, with a solid understanding of programmatic advertising and monetization data.
• Proficient SQL skills (essential).
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Preset, Burt, Looker).
• Comfortable navigating the complete data stack: extraction, cleaning, manipulation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with digital analytics tools (e.g., GA4, GAM).
• Adept at working with imperfect, non-prepared data and constructing reliable datasets.
• Naturally curious and inquisitive, eager to understand the workings of every aspect and how improvements can be made.
• Possess a keen eye for both detail and the overarching context.
• Ability to recognize patterns in substantial data sets and enjoy detective work when something seems amiss.
• Excellent communication skills to convert complex data into actionable insights.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions with product, engineering, ads, and finance teams.
• Nice to have: Background in mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with optimization algorithms (e.g., multi-armed bandits, experimentation frameworks).
• Experience building or working with custom tracking systems.
