Senior DevOps Engineer, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the development team to deploy and maintain application infrastructure.

• Assist in the creation and support of tools that enhance the deployment and upkeep of our products.

• Utilize Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD to deploy applications from development to production environments.

• Provide support for both in-house and third-party applications, including managing deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Create and oversee automation pipelines for the deployment and maintenance of applications.

• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.

• Clearly and concisely document processes and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, primarily GCP.

• Experience with Linux command line and networking, especially within Kubernetes environments.

• A proactive approach to navigating complex systems, ensuring optimal performance.

• A solid understanding of security best practices.

• Participation in on-call rotation.

• Previous experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Ansible, Redis, and Jenkins.

• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.

• Experience working with distributed and remote teams.
