Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS Cloud Migrations

📋 Description

• Lead and execute AWS cloud migration initiatives.

• Design and construct secure landing zones.

• Migrate applications, infrastructure, and databases to AWS.

• Assist with cutovers and production launches, prioritizing stability and security.

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Automate cloud environments and deployment processes.

• Ensure observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

• Migrate and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS/Fargate.

• Enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of workloads.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customer teams.

• Support migration scoping and technical estimations.

• Clearly articulate trade-offs and architectural choices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Engineering.

• Strong practical experience with AWS Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Experience in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with container platforms: Kubernetes OR ECS.

• Proficient in English and German.

• AWS certifications are a plus.

• Experience in database migration.

• Knowledge of SRE practices (monitoring, alerting, and reliability concepts).

• Experience in client-facing roles or consulting.
