Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

• Manage and enhance Promova's core infrastructure utilizing AWS, Hetzner, and Cloudflare.

• Design, construct, and sustain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and self-hosted runners.

• Oversee and optimize Kubernetes (K3s) and AWS ECS environments.

• Enhance reliability, observability, and incident response with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and other related technologies.

• Support the infrastructure that powers our AI features and internal platforms.

• Increase cloud cost transparency and reduce expenditures when feasible.

• Create automation for provisioning and onboarding to simplify processes for developers.

• Fortify platform security through effective secrets management, access control, and robust infrastructure practices.

• Collaborate with other infrastructure engineers to help establish engineering standards across various teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineer.

• Strong practical knowledge of AWS and contemporary cloud infrastructure.

• Comprehensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Terraform and Ansible.

• Proven experience managing Kubernetes in a production setting.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD.

• Proficient in Docker and Linux system administration.

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

• Experience with secrets management solutions like Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.

• Strong scripting capabilities in Bash and/or Python.

• Possess an ownership mindset, sound judgment, and effective communication skills.

• Mentoring experience or leading infrastructure projects is an advantage.
