Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain scalable, dependable infrastructure utilizing AWS (ECS, RDS, and associated services)

• Construct and oversee infrastructure as code using Terraform

• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient and secure software delivery

• Enhance system observability through tools like Datadog, Sentry, and Coralogix

• Foster a seamless developer experience by refining tooling, workflows, and platform usability

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure rapid, safe, and reliable deployments

• Diagnose production issues and contribute to enhancements in system reliability

• Document infrastructure and disseminate knowledge to bolster long-term maintainability

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar positions

• Extensive experience with AWS services, especially ECS and RDS

• Practical experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code methodologies

• Proven experience in constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or Coralogix

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, reliability, and performance enhancement

• Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash)

• Excellent communication skills and the capability to document intricate systems

• Bonus if you possess experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or container orchestration tools

• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and/or JavaScript applications

• Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or comparable databases

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration
