This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will collaborate closely with our clients from various sectors, including industry, public service, and academia on challenging infrastructure projects, spanning from planning to stable operation.
• You will be responsible for the architecture, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of both cloud and on-premises infrastructures, which includes public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• You will operate and maintain current systems and data center infrastructures, including hybrid and multi-cloud configurations.
• You will assess existing architectures and assist in the migration and modernization of legacy systems.
• You will implement GitOps and CI/CD workflows (e.g., using ArgoCD, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and guide our clients in automating their development and operational workflows.
• You will provide consultancy on contemporary technologies and best practices, especially in areas like containerization, cloud-native tools, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• You will conceptually contribute to topics including network design, storage architectures (e.g., Ceph, ODF, NFS), and security standards (BSI, ISO27001, IAM, PKI).
• If desired, you will also provide on-site support to clients in Germany and share your expertise with our colleagues in the team.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with one or more CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring systems including ELK, Datadog, Prometheus, New Relic, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• Sound understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, etc.).
• Experience with storage systems like Ceph, MinIO, etc.
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance (e.g., BSI, ISO27001, PKI, IAM).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or TypeScript.

• Fluent in both German and English.
