Senior DevOps Engineer, 4hrs overlap with London UK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Enhance the deployment of our platform for clients.

• Propel our internal CI/CD processes forward.

• Create and execute a scalability and performance benchmarking platform, collaborating with our Product Engineering team as users.

• Partner with our Engineers as your clients, facilitating the wider Technology team to concentrate on core product development.

• Develop, suggest, and implement enhancements to our deployment pipelines, environment provisioning, and benchmarking solutions, making the installation and configuration of Data X-Ray simpler and more adaptable for both clients and internal use.

• Collaborate with Customer Success engineers and Solution Architects to ensure we address our clients' needs effectively.

• Ensure our applications adhere to industry best practices concerning deployment, logging, monitoring, and security.

• Assist in safeguarding the data rights of millions of our client's customers.

• Practical experience with container and deployment tools, such as Docker, Podman, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking and security fundamentals, including configuring load balancers, issuing certificates, and setting up VPCs.

• Familiarity with at least one of the major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Hetzner).

• Knowledge of best practices for on-premise deployment and operations (e.g., blue/green deployment, database recovery management, monitoring tools, and logging).
