Senior DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS architectures that prioritize availability, scalability, and security.

• Administer and optimize services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, EFS, Lambda, CloudFront, and various platform resources.

• Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure modifications while minimizing operational impact.

• Manage intricate network environments utilizing VPCs, Transit Gateway, Site-to-Site VPN, Peering, and routing.

• Configure and uphold Security Groups, NACLs, and access policies in alignment with security best practices.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to connectivity, performance, and routing.

• Implement and oversee security and protection solutions within cloud environments.

• Analyze and respond to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.

• Ensure compliance of infrastructure through hardening, access management, and regular reviews.

• Administer Linux servers in production environments.

• Conduct patching, hardening, and lifecycle management of instances.

• Create and maintain custom images tailored for various use cases.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.

• Automate provisioning and configurations utilizing Ansible.

• Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and applications.

• Develop scripts to automate operational tasks.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS), including upgrades, troubleshooting, security, and scalability.

• Create and optimize Docker images.

• Implement security policies and access control measures within clusters.

• Monitor environments using observability tools.

• Engage in incident management and the resolution of production issues.

• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in IT infrastructure.

• Experience in administering AWS environments.

• Proficient knowledge of computer networks and communication protocols.

• Experience with Linux server administration.

• Understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

• Capability to troubleshoot complex, distributed environments.

• Knowledge of NGINX and ModSecurity (preferred but not required).

• Experience with Cloudflare (preferred but not required).

• Familiarity with Datadog or similar observability platforms (preferred but not required).

• Knowledge of incident management tools (preferred but not required).

• Experience with GitOps (preferred but not required).

• AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications (preferred but not required).
