Senior Developer, Product Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a compact team of developers who are experts in Rust, Swift, Kotlin, and Security Development.

• Develop and integrate new security functionalities for the 1Password iOS and core hybrid applications.

• Support security design initiatives or scoping efforts for upcoming features.

• Exhibit leadership in security development practices.

• Work together with teams across our hybrid core architecture.

• Mentor junior team members and newcomers.

• Evaluate code written by others to ensure high standards of code quality.

• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in security development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on security.

• At least 3 years of practical experience in iOS and Apple security development.

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with Rust development and the creation of FFI interfaces.

• Familiarity with Secure Enclave and HSM functionalities.

• A deep understanding and passion for the field of security.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Knowledge of and practical experience with Agentic AI Model capabilities and workflows.

• A self-starter with exceptional organizational skills.
