Senior Data Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Build & Maintain: Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of our data pipelines and storage systems across various cloud environments, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

• Enable Teams: Collaborate closely with developers, partners, and leadership to provide robust data solutions and incorporate best practices into daily operations.

• Automate Everything: Develop software services and APIs using Python frameworks to facilitate smooth and reliable data processing and deployment experiences.

• Continuous Improvement: Utilize the appropriate data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault) to address various challenges, optimizing our technology stack for each scenario.

• Has a Growth Mindset: You possess over 6 years of experience, excel in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy solving complex problems across different technologies in our stack.

• Values Collaboration: You are an exceptional team player who believes in seamless cooperation between developers, partners, and leadership toward achieving a common objective.

• Communicates with Clarity: You are adept at articulating various data modeling techniques, architectures, and technical concepts to a diverse group of stakeholders in English.

• Your Technical Toolkit:

• Cloud: Strong experience in cloud environments, particularly with AWS, as well as Azure and GCP.

• Streaming & Big Data: Practical experience with streaming data technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.

• Familiarity with proprietary and open-source platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Vertica, Spark, and Airflow.

• Programming: Extensive expertise in Python, including experience in organizing Python-based projects and developing software services and APIs.

• Data Modeling: Deep understanding of various data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).
