This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the evaluation and validation processes of AI and GenAI systems, focusing on aspects such as hallucination, fairness, robustness, explainability, and other risks associated with model behavior.
• Create and implement repeatable evaluation workflows, benchmark datasets, and structured tests to assess model behavior.
• Act as the Responsible AI data science partner for designated AI delivery teams, facilitating the incorporation of RAI metrics, guardrails, and evaluation methodologies.
• Convert research insights and experimental techniques into scalable, ready-to-deploy evaluation capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with AI/ML engineers and QA analysts to ensure alignment of evaluation logic with testing pipelines and deployment processes.
• Assist in the development of model cards, evaluation documentation, and transparency artifacts necessary for governance and review purposes.
• Offer Responsible AI consultation to stakeholders in product, engineering, risk, legal, and governance roles.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level data scientists on evaluation design, experimental rigor, and Responsible AI methodologies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in data science.
• Proven experience in developing or evaluating AI/ML systems in both production and pre-production settings.
• Strong foundation in experimental design, statistical analysis, and methodologies for model evaluation.
• Experience in collaborating with engineering and product teams within an agile, iterative delivery framework.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for conducting data analysis and managing evaluation workflows.
• Familiarity with contemporary cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a matrixed team structure.
