Senior Data Engineer – Denodo, BigQuery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Supervise and enhance the Denodo platform by establishing best practices for development, governance, and performance.

• Design and support new data integrations, ensuring alignment with the established architecture and standards.

• Serve as a technical reference for the team regarding queries related to Denodo and BigQuery.

• Define integration and optimization patterns utilizing technologies such as Denodo, Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT, and data orchestration tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience is essential: Experience in Denodo Platform environments, focusing on design, administration, and optimization of Denodo platforms.

• Ability to technically guide the adaptation of data architectures to Denodo.

• Advanced knowledge of BigQuery and optimization of queries on large data volumes.

• Experience with modern data architectures based on Medallion principles (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

• Practical knowledge of Data Governance, including quality, lineage, catalog, and metadata management.

• Ideal candidates will have experience with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI).

• We would appreciate experience or knowledge in DBT, Snowflake, or MDS.
