Senior Data Engineer – Data Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assume crucial responsibilities in requirements analysis, designing scalable and low-latency streaming platform solutions, architecture, and the comprehensive delivery of essential modules to facilitate real-time data solutions for our product.

• Develop clean and scalable code using Go, Typescript, Node.js, Scala, Python, and SQL, while testing and deploying applications and systems.

• Address our most complex data challenges in real-time, leveraging optimal data architectures, frameworks, and query techniques, along with sourcing from both structured and unstructured data sources.

• Become a part of an engineering team that delivers high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions to clients.

• Participate in optimizing product and platform performance and monitoring live site activity.

• Guide team members by providing and receiving constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., computer science or mathematics).

• Over 3 years of experience with real-time, event-driven architecture.

• More than 3 years of experience with modern programming languages such as Scala, Python, Go, and Typescript.

• Proficient in designing complex data processing pipelines.

• Experience in data modeling (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling, etc.).

• Skilled in query optimization.

• Familiarity with Kafka is a plus.

• Experience in shipping and maintaining code in a production environment.
