Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Convert the client’s strategy into data requirements and actionable solutions

• Organize and spearhead the definition of contemporary data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse)

• Design and manage the execution of comprehensive data projects

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, resilient, and in accordance with industry best practices

• Assist in the prioritization and organization of requests, transforming needs into actionable roadmaps

• Collaborate closely with business units to foster functional understanding and generate value

• Serve as a technical authority, elevating the team's expertise and mentoring junior staff

• Advocate for engineering best practices, governance, and data quality

• Engage in architectural decisions and contribute to the advancement of the data ecosystem

• Extensive experience with modern data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, contemporary Data Warehouse)

• Expertise in analytical and transactional data modeling

• Background in data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and large-scale data processing

• Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP)

• Knowledge of Snowflake (preferred)

• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data observability
