Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and take ownership of the governed Snowflake layer.

• Establish connection standards for AI agents and applications.

• Implement PII scrubbing and compliance within the code.

• Maintain documentation of the data warehouse.

• Upgrade the analytics codebase to modern standards.

• Provide support for the Tableau and Mixpanel layers.

• Set the technical direction and elevate quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building production analytics systems on a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred; experience with BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks is applicable).

• Proficient in SQL.

• Proven experience in architectural oversight of a data governance layer.

• Hands-on experience with a transformation framework.

• Familiarity with the BI and product analytics environment.

• Proven ability to mentor and influence colleagues.

• Excellent written communication skills.
