Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance data pipelines and infrastructures, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient collection, storage, processing, and availability of information.

• Guarantee data quality, integrity, security, and scalability throughout all phases of the data lifecycle.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to facilitate data-driven solutions.

• Establish and uphold best practices for data governance, cataloging, and management.

• Oversee and enhance the performance of data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.

• Assist in defining and maintaining data models that align with the organization’s analytical and operational requirements.

• Ensure adherence to data security and privacy policies, in compliance with relevant standards and legislation.

• Aid in the automation and standardization of processes within the data ecosystem.

• Engage in the assessment and integration of new technologies and tools that enhance the efficiency and reliability of the data environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

• Demonstrated experience in data engineering, focusing on the development and maintenance of production-grade pipelines.

• Proficient in data-centric programming languages, particularly Python and/or SQL.

• Familiarity with cloud tools and services (preferably Google Cloud Platform — BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Composer — or equivalent platforms in AWS/Azure).

• Understanding of data modeling and best practices in data architecture.

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes, system integration, and managing large data volumes.

• Knowledge of data security, governance, and quality standards.

• Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with data orchestration tools.

• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager).

• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Mesh concepts.

• Familiarity with data cataloging and governance tools (Dataplex, Data Catalog, Collibra, etc.).

• Experience working in agile environments with an emphasis on continuous value delivery.
