Senior Data Analyst, AI Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Conducting analysis, mining, and modeling substantial amounts of business data to develop an all-encompassing algorithmic system that extracts valuable insights irrespective of rules or machine learning algorithms.

• Leading by example: As a supervisor of a high-performing, multidisciplinary Data Analyst team, you will create and design intricate visualizations and analytical models to assist in meeting compliance or regulatory standards, as well as establish multiple data analytical systems to enhance operational efficiency for business teams.

• Collaborating closely with compliance departments to pinpoint, prioritize, and deliver on their most urgent and impactful analytical use cases; simplifying complex findings into straightforward visual representations and actionable recommendations.

• Analyzing and interpreting vast (PB-scale) amounts of transactional, operational, and customer data utilizing both proprietary and open-source data tools, platforms, and analytical toolkits.

• Supporting and managing data requests from business stakeholders; capable of understanding business modification needs and evaluating the effects of those changes.

• Accountable for closely collaborating with compliance areas to recognize, prioritize, and deliver on their most crucial and impactful analytical use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a relevant Data Analyst or Science position.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or engineering discipline, along with professional experience in a related field.

• Familiarity with commonly used machine learning and deep learning algorithms, with practical experience in implementing LLMs in business applications preferred.

• Proficient in standard analysis tools such as SQL, R, and Python.

• Strong experience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, etc.).

• Comfortable and experienced working with large datasets and big data technologies (Hadoop, Redshift, Spark, Presto, Hive).

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and the capability to establish work priorities.

• Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.

• Strong business acumen and logical reasoning; ability to synthesize information and identify patterns.

• Experience in regulatory compliance and financial trading analysis is advantageous.

• Background in AI-related fields will be beneficial.
