Senior Consultant, DevOps

📋 Description

• You will serve as a vital technical contributor in executing intricate projects, blending extensive engineering expertise with the ability to operate autonomously within your designated area.

• You will assume complete ownership of your deliverables, guaranteeing they adhere to high standards of quality, security, and performance, while closely collaborating with both colleagues and client teams to accomplish project objectives.

• You will employ contemporary DevOps methodologies to design, construct, and enhance solutions that enable clients to maximize their cloud platform investments.

• You will be actively engaged throughout the entire project lifecycle—from refining requirements and shaping solutions to delivering operational systems and conveying results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Additionally, you will offer guidance and informal mentorship to less experienced engineers, contributing to the team's enhanced capabilities.

• During periods when you are not focused on client engagements, you may participate in pre-sales activities, such as assessing technical requirements, collaborating with our bid team, and assisting in the creation of compelling proposals.

• You will also have chances to engage with Ensono Digital’s internal competencies, sharing knowledge, refining our delivery methods, and broadening your own skill set.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in designing and constructing advanced CI/CD pipelines from the ground up using two or more platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.

• Proficiency in creating reusable pipeline templates (e.g., Azure DevOps templates, GitHub Actions reusable workflows, and infrastructure modules such as Terraform).

• Skill in integrating automated quality checks, testing, and security scanning into pipelines.

• Hands-on commercial experience with at least one of the leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Ability to implement Infrastructure as Code solutions utilizing tools like Terraform or cloud-native tooling (ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation).

• Experience in designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters for production workloads at scale.

• Knowledge in configuring application routing using CDN, load balancers, and ingress controllers for both single and multi-region architectures.

• Familiarity with hub-and-spoke network architectures and their implementation in cloud environments.

• Experience with containerized applications hosted locally and on cloud-native PaaS services (e.g., Azure Container Apps, AWS ECS Fargate).

• Capability to support security architecture and contribute to the establishment of naming conventions, patterns, and practices.

• Proficient in identifying and implementing build pipelines to validate non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security, compliance).

• Experience in writing and maintaining tests for infrastructure code within an existing framework.

• Skill in analyzing security scan results, particularly Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) reports.

• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting applications in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, or Node.js.

• Ability to effectively tackle technical challenges on complex projects and deliver quality results within your area of responsibility.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical solutions, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and engage with stakeholders.

• Providing informal guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers within the team.

• Awareness of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can expedite project tasks such as documentation, refactoring, testing, and debugging.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, is a plus.
