Senior Consultant, Contract Account Ledger, SAP FI-CA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As a Senior Consultant for contract account ledger, you play a vital role in shaping the digital future of the energy sector.

• You will take complete ownership of subprojects and projects for our clients, overseeing everything from requirements analysis to implementation and overall coordination of all aspects related to the contract account ledger.

• Responsible for the design and configuration of SAP FI-CA within S/4 transformation projects, including both brownfield and greenfield approaches.

• Analyze and enhance payment processes while introducing various payment methods, including traditional options and digital solutions like PayPal.

• Improve dunning processes and implement new strategies to accelerate receivables collection times for both residential and commercial customer segments, utilizing SAP Collection Management.

• Develop posting logic for SAP standard billing solutions in S/4 Utilities and create new billing solutions based on SAP Convergent Invoicing.

• Ensure integration of financial flows between subledger (SAP FI-CA), general ledger (SAP FI-GL), and Controlling (SAP FI-CO) across various SAP system landscapes.

• Conduct analysis and optimization of invoicing, payment, and blocking processes among market roles and implement these within SAP S/4 Utilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework in the energy sector, particularly GPKE, GeLi Gas, and WiM.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in projects centered on contract account ledger (FI-CA).

• Familiarity with SAP for Utilities, especially the FI-CA module, from both functional and technical standpoints.

• A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
